Spring through autumn is ideal. Dry, settled conditions let exterior paint cure properly and adhere to the surface. We book exterior projects in advance so we can time them right.
A properly prepared and coated exterior typically looks great for 8 to 12 years or more, depending on exposure, cladding type and paint system. Coastal properties in Māpua and Tāhunanui may need more frequent maintenance than sheltered inland homes.
Yes. We paint weatherboards (timber and modern composite), plaster, brick, fibre-cement cladding and modern claddings. Each surface gets a coating system suited to it.
Soffits, fascia, spouting, window frames and doors are all part of a full exterior repaint when they're in the scope. We can also quote for these separately.
We move and cover outdoor furniture, pot plants and BBQs as part of the job. If you have anything particularly fragile, just point it out and we'll take extra care.
Minor filling, sanding and spot repairs are part of standard preparation. For significant timber replacement we'll flag it in the quote and coordinate a builder if you don't already have one.
